I had a GREAT day @ The Rose St. Artists' Market :)
0. Always good to get to see our friends at the market and have chats.
1. First thing in the morning was a BOTTLE OPENER pendant going as a gift to Adelaide for someone's 60th birthday.
2. One of Greg's regular customers dropped by again with her friends who visiting her in Melbourne. She's a great person and she's so cool yet friendly! (Dumb me was eating lunch with food full of my mouth... pity didn't chat with her today >< Lucky Greg~~)
3. A girl from HK came to our store and got a Kookaburra picture pendant as a gift. Then she told me she and her friends came to this market because they read the introduction about the market with one of the images of Greg's store from HongKong's "新假期" magazine. So they thought to come and check it out! She even gave me the pages of Rose Street's introduction. (will scan them and post later I promise!) How cool that is! We are in HK's magazine!
4. made friends with some nice people from Singapore today and again I had the chance to chat in mother tongue! Annabel (the Singaporean girl whose friend got her a spoon pendnat last weekend) came in to visit us cz her friends told her about us @ Rose St market. It was just so great pumping into people you can start talking with and about things. (And she prayed for us. I was so touched!) Then her friends came to meet her at the market later, we chatted with "my familiar tones" (就是有說不出的親切感 :))! Promised we keep in touch and one day we'll see each other again! ^^ 後會有期!!!
These are the beauty I appreciate a lot about doing this market! ^^
